MASTER OF BUSINESS STUDIES (MBS)
Tribhuvan University, Faculty of Management (FOM) has offered the two years with 4 semester's MBS course from the academic session 2015-16. This program aims at enabling the students to work as competent managers and to meet the demand to higher level managers in organizations, particularly in the functional areas of management.
BACHELOR OF BUSINESS STUDIES (BBS)
Bachelor of Business Studies is a 4-year academic program. The objective of the BBS programme at the Faculty of Management (FOM) is to develop students into competent managers for any sector of organized activity. The programme is based on the principle that graduates will spend a major portion of their life in a constantly changing environment. Upon graduation, students should be equipped to function as a manager in business, industry and government. The graduate should also have a variety of career opportunities in different sectors of business including entrepreneurship and create much needed jobs for others.
BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (B. SC. CSIT)
The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Information Technology (B. Sc. CSIT) curriculum has been designed by TU following the courses practiced in accredited international universities. The foundation and core courses are designed to meet the undergraduate academic program requirement, and the service courses are designed to meet the need of fast changing computer technology and application. All undergraduate students are required to complete 126 credit hours of computer science course and allied courses.
BACHELOR OF SCIENCE (B. SC.) IN MICROBIOLOGY
B. Sc. Microbiology is a Four year Bachelor course of Tribhuvan University. Microbiology is the study of microbes (organisms too small to be seen by the naked eye) and the way they interact with humans, animals, plants and the environment. It is an inter-disciplinary 4-year course that studies microbes thoroughly to promote life sciences and benefit all living things, and as a subject has wide SciTech, environmental, or health related applications. The course empowers graduates to work as environmental microbiologists, in the health care field, or in the food production, agriculture and industry sectors. Graduates acquire specialized analytical knowledge to meet the demands of the contemporary market and learn how to bridge the gap between industrial needs and the education with which they have been equipped. They develop the competence to work anywhere in different institutions including those relating to education and research.
